App — Caregiver linking

Caregivers connect to a user through an explicit, consent-bounded flow — never automatically.

How linking works

• The user generates a QR code and a 6-digit code.
• Adult users approve each caregiver through a consent screen before any data is shared.
• Minor accounts are guided through a setup flow that requires at least one emergency contact before activation.
• A maximum of 10 caregivers per user is enforced on the backend.

Real-time sync

Once linked, vitals, mood, location, chat and SOS events fan out over WebSocket to every connected device. A caregiver's access is scoped to an active relationship at a single enforcement point.

Revocation

When a user removes a caregiver, access is revoked everywhere at once — REST endpoints, historical chat and live sync all stop immediately.
